Best Tool for GPU testing

Howdy folks!

I'm looking for a program or two with which to test a used 9500GT.

I have recently gotten back into the PC building/upgrading saddle and was looking for some good testing tools. In this case I'm dealing with an nVidia card but if it worked with ATI that would be awesome.

Please leave a link if you could too.
 
If you own Crysis/Steam Metro 2033 you can use the benchmarking tools used with that. Other options are RTHDRIBL and of course furmark. I'd probably advise against furmark if the card noticeably lacks VRM cooling.OCCT Also has somethig like a built in furmark that can check for artifacts and bad RAM for CUDA supported cards.
 
bump for more options. I am looking specifically for something with which I can test the memory on the card (besides OCCT). Your thoughts?
 
OCCT is the best and only tool for now. There are other methods for testing memory on a card though. What card do you have?
 
I use GPUTool to scan for artifacts. It's very effective and unlike Furmark or OCCT puts a realistic load on your card.
 
I find errors in OCCT that GPUTool does not find. OCCT definitely loads your card to a greater extant and possibly unrealistic extant but if you don't want to check you card under max load, make sure you run 3d mark Vantage and Crysis warhead as those will load harder than gputool also.
 
I like Furmark because it's pretty lol. Actually it does a good job of kicking the crap out of a card and I usually use it when I first get a card, maybe a 15 min stress run, to make sure the fan is running fine and the temps are within range.

OCCT is very useful for OC load testing/artifact checking as others have noted.

I've honestly never had that happen. I've watched the VDDC current and GPUTool draws about the same as Crysis and I've never found Vantage to be that stressful. You can also walk away and run GPUTool for a half hour or so which I wouldn't dream of doing with OCCT. OCCT isn't a bad tool but I wouldn't run that for more than a couple of minutes.

EVGA also has a tool now which works pretty well.
