I have a friend with a pair of bose phones that are $200 same sound =O plus this has a mic =)

If you need headphones with a mic, correct. If not, IMO the HD497s are the best for ~$50. And yes, Bose headphones are CRAP and should be thrown in a pile, doused with kerosene, and lit on fire. ;)
