SATA3, M4 hands down, blows Intel away in general usage (random 4k read).

SATA2, Sandforce 12XX based, Agility2 is a good deal.

I do have sata 3 ports. I have an SSD now its the 40gb x25 and is frankly a bit underwhelming in performance (Could be because of how much i have to offload onto a spinning drive) and too small.

The m4 looks good, the 128 is a bit out of my budget but i should be able to swing it. If not where should i look from there for 120+ size under $200?

You won't find 120gb for <200$ right now unless your looking 2nd hand. VERY SOON it seems :D

The 64 gig m4 is on sale for $100 right now. If i didnt already have the 40 gig i would be on that in a heartbeat.
