best speakers under $400

[wheedwacker]

What are the best floorstanding or bookshelf speakers under $400 (including shipping)?

Some I have seen are the Onix X-SLS, which, from reviews, seems to be the best.

Or should I get http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=302-016&CFID=503362&CFTOKEN=53514574

Or something else altogether.

I haven't heard of the onix before. Ascend acoustics and axiom are meant to make some of the best bookshelves. I use a pair of M3ti's and I'm happy with them.

Those are already out, but with them at $450 and $95 shipping, I can't afford them.

I've got a pair of the X-LS bookshelves for my PC and absolutely love'em!

Money is just this thing man. Really, sometimes it's worth it to wait and save a bit more. The smaller versions should be plenty nice though.
