Best speakers ~$350 range?

I just picked up a set of Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 Ultra's from new egg, 355$ and change shipped to my door.

Be ready for a bunch of posts pointing these out. Though perhaps someone out there might suggest creating your own audio setup, since it seems you're willing to spend a bit more.

I hear a lot of positive feedback about the Klipsch ProMedia ultra 5.1 and the Creative GigaWorks S750 7.1. For the Creative speakers you can get Creative GigaWorks 5.1 S700 instead if you don't need the extra 2 speakers. They're bascially the same thing minus 2 speakers.

Also, what kind of sound card are you using? A good set of speakers should be used with a good sound card.

im open for all suggestions, i currently have some klipsch 4.1s and they do very well. Im a hardcore gamer and i listen to tons of music, mainly metal ;O
