Best Speaker Setup For ~350.

What's the best speaker setup for under 350. I am going to be running out of a X-FI Xtreme music, unless the [H] audiophiles suggest otherwise. Also, I was thinking of getting the klipsch 5.1, but I was thinking of building my own setup. If I need to I could push the limit to ~400, if I build my own setup.

Its a good idea to include in your question what exactly you want to do with it.
How much space do you have...
How much sapce and you sit back from the speakers?

And just as a general question, are you bent set on speakers, or are headphones an option?

Lastly, don't be afraid to check out your local professional audio shops. Sometimes they can give you good recommendations.

Well, as for headphones I'm getting the Senn 485's, and I was going to get the Z-5300, but wasn't sure. My initial Thinking was Klipsch (300)+ Senn 485(85), or Z-5300(150) and Senn 555(150). I want the speakers for when I don't feel like wearing headphones, and when friends come over to listen to music. I would get the Klipsch 2.1, but I'm afraid if I get the headphones, I'm going to want 5.1 Speakers So I can get bass, and a more intense feeling while playing games. Then I thought, why not buy a sub and build a setup.

That said, I am going to be using a Ikea Jerker desk, and Either a Dell 2405, or Sony Fw900. I will place The Middle Speaker Under the Front of the monitor, and Left and right front speakers...Nevermind.

Well, from the sounds of it, you have a need for speakers Its hard to say how you should devide up your money..... I'll be honest with you, you may find the speakers sound better then any headphones below 100$... and just find yourself using the speakers all the time... (unless you need it to be quite at some times).

As for the "sketch", I can't make a darn thing out....... but i have a funney feeling you know what you want already.
