Best Software DVD Player

Power DVD has been my favorite. I've got Win DVD and a couple others but I don't like them as well. BTW Media Player sucks as a DVD player.

I say Power DVD, only cuz its all ive used :)
Heh i have three different versions one bundled with my old asus board, on bundled with my dvd drive, and the one bundled with my dell lappy... the asus/dell even came with thier own cheesy skins.
Never had an issue with it

only reason i like win dvd is in power dvd you can tell they sacrificed a little image quality to get a lil higher frame rate.. plus it supports hardware assisted video rendering in the new video cards of today.

I always like Media Player Classic /w ffdshow. Get most of the features you need, without all the mess and its FREE!

yeah, I use mpc for everything but DVD's I never really liked the way it handled dvds, but that is just me.

Yeah it really depends on what you want it for. I have a nice setup in the living room for watching TV and movies, but if you want to watch a DVD now and then in the office and maybe get some screenshots... MPC works just fine.
