Hi all

Looking for the best cooling solution for C2D overclocking but it has to be low profile. So I guess that leaves probably the Zalman 7700 Cu and 8000, or Thermalright XP90c. But which is better? Are there any other options?

Thanks

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

However, just about all low profile HSFs seem to perform about the same. Read the reviews and pick which one *you* like.

doesn't the xp90/c with a panflo generally outperform the 7700? or at least, it seems like it did a few years ago.

The case you use will be a determining factor in most situations.

I have used both the Silverstone NT03 and the Swiftech MCX775 in SFF applications.

They are both pretty heavy for their size and work well.

Thanks guys.

Yeah I'd appreciate any links to Benchmarking rather than opinions, and yes the case does determine the cooler in this instance

......but it has to be low profile.....
Thanks

Specifically, the the total clearance in the case is 130mm.
