I am currently upgrading and am looking at the newly released X2 3800 and am looking at the Asus A8n Premium, is there a difference in the premium and the deluxe or is there a better maker out there, but really want to know what I should do. I don't know for sure what motherboard these days is the best and I also want some recommendation on a video card to match with it. I don't need something crazy I just want something that will run CS and will work fine with autocad and general applications. I do mostly school work on it. My only requirement is dual monitors which I think most video cards now have and I don't want to spend a ton. 450 for a graphics card no way. Just let me know an affordable setup that won't bottleneck the processor and mobo. Thanks

I think the 6600gt can do dual monitor, someone confirm this.

also you dont need the BEST motherboard, most at the top are for the computer enthusiast that make use of every special feature there is. I would definitely get a decent one though, just saves you some money.

if you arent planning on overclocking get 1 or 2 gigs of corsair value ram or some other type of cheap, good ram.

Edit: a dual core for CS and school applications??? WTF??? get a 3000+ venice, a DFI Ultra D mobo, a gig of ram and call it a day... why overkill?

i am running a server that will do complex mathematical calculations utilizing the school network from it. I forgot to mention that. I just wanted to show that I didn't need crazy graphics but you recommend that card. will it bottleneck?
