Best Ryzen or Intel combo you can do for $300 range. LMK what you guys have. Cpu, ram, mobo - prefer minimum 16gb ddr4. Thermal Paste and a HSF is a big plus.

It's a Dell motherboard using the H61 chipset and should accept most Core i series 2nd and 3rd gen CPUs. Standard MicroATX form factor and all standard pin headers and power connections.

If you don't have a screw down cooler, the rear mounting plate that holds the screws is removable, just carefully pull it off, it's double sided taped to the rear socket support.

Man, I have a nice Asus P68 Pro-V dialed to 4.5 Ghz for a 2700k. If I wasn't turning it into a Blue Iris machine right now, I'd sell it to you. Good luck.

I will be getting rid of an X58 Gigabyte board with a Xeon in it though if that helps.

Yeah....I had a terrible time trying to find one at a decent price. It was cheaper to just go AM4 with another CPU :p. Good Luck, TTT for you.

ShuttleLuv, you seem to be suffering from a case of feature creep. You've changed the title several times now. Started as 1155 mobo needed ASAP, then best combo for $250, then best combo for $300, now best Ryzen or Intel combo for $300. Good luck.

One thing that probably needs to be stated in the main posting is they are looking to pay after receiving the items. Not saying that is necessarily a bad thing or that they are looking to rip people off but it would save time.

Absolutely that should be stated in the post. so he doesn't waste peoples time. I'm not sending $300 worth of hardware to someone before receiving payment. That just isn't going to happen.
