Looking for the best radiator from the Black Ice line for under $50 for cooling a CPU. Specifically the Core 2 Duo.

Cooling JUST the c2d? or might you put a videocard on your loop at a later date?

The new GTX radiators are really nice... but I dont think they're on sale yet. Anyways, the GT 120 would be fine for just the CPU, or a GT 240 would be good for a CPU+GPU+NB loop.

Anything other than a CPU and 1 GPU = GT 360.

I have a black ice xtreme III now but i'm told it's overkill for my CPU. And my fans on it are very low CFM which i'm told is bad for that particular radiator. And buying 3 new high CFM fans for it costs more than alot of radiators so I might just replace the rad. Which is why i'm asking.

I have no intrest in watercooling my video card. The coolers are $125+ which is way more than i'm willing to play. And i've never gotten what I would call a worthwhile overclock on any of my previous video cards, ATI and Nvidia.

i have a single 120 GTS cooling my cpu and gpu very nicely but YMMV. depends if you have room for the bigger rads and in my case i didn't.

you don't have to get a full coverage block for your x19xtx. you can simply get a maze4/5 and some ramsinks and be done with it. way cheaper.

I have that block that I was using on a Radeon 9800 Pro. Any idea if that would also work on a x1900xtx?

I think it should...

Compatable with 2 hole mounting cards... Doesn't the XTS have the same pattern?

you can try, i saw someone else use a maze4 with only the 9800 mounting kit and it worked. it might not get good/even contact but it should work. if it doesn't work out, i'm sure you can find a used maze4 in the F/S forum for cheap.
