Well I dont want to install a watercooling kit because I will have to get a new case. So what is better the zalmen watercooling kit or the koolance one? Or you sugest one. I can spend $300
Get an original Koolance EXOS I Aluminum unit. Sharka Corp has them in stock and on sale for I think $200. With the coolers added in you are still under your budget price. Do you want to cool anything besides the CPU?
BTW, I think Sharka also has the Zalman Reserator on sale as well for about $210 and it includes a CPU block as well.
The Koolance in a case sounds like a good idea, but the EXOS units have consistently performed very well since they came onto the market. The integrated cases have not fared so well.
Get the exos al, a guy on ebay has been selling the units, plus 3 coolers (1cpu, 1 NB, and 1 GPU) for starting at $170, I got mine for 208 plus 12 for shipping! They are brand new in the factory sealed box! It is now installed and even OCing my 2.8C to 3.5 speeds I have not topped 40C yet under full load! One word, amazing. I seriously doubt I coulda done better with a DIY system, cheaper yes, but the cooling has been great! Installation took about 2 hours, but thats because I am anal. Highly recommend. I do not know if he has any on ebay, because this isn't a plug for him, but the system is awesome.
Edit- by the way he does have a set on the bay the buy it now price is 260, auction price starts at 170. Just type in koolance and you'll see it.
While I can't comment on the rest....
The EXOS-al and the NV cooler is pretty good.
I was concerned that the addition of the GPU cooler would raise my CPU temps, especially because of the 1/4 inch tubing.
But that hasn't been the case at all.
Install was a breeze and adding the GPU cooler was easy also because of the quick disconnects on the hoses. lost almost no fluid.
GPU went from around 70c to never over 40c under load.
I'm sure you can do better for less but not as easy
