Best portable laptop/desktop replacement

[l0nemonk]

I am finally upgrading my laptop (C2D 2gb mem..) I want a small screen (11"-14" max), SSD and an i7 core. I been looking at the Alienware and Ultrabooks. I travel alot and need something that I can use on a plane but want the power.

Yep it is for work but a game or 2 might.. be played on it

Any good suggestions? Budget is $2200

Thanks

Depending on thermals and screen quality (probably the deal breaker), this looks interesting in the 11in form factor.

I'm also in the market, but leaning towards the 14in end. I would love to find one with a decent screen and a higher end GPU.

I am liking the dual HDD's on the Alienware M14x with the i7 and GT 650m. But $200 just for Bluray ??
I never heard of the Clevo before. Specs look good. The Asus Zenbooks are nice but I need a optical drive and carrying an extra piece is not appealing.

I am leaning towards the Alienware.

The 11" Clevo configured is a good deal but rahter have the 14" but the gpu is not available in Nvidia GT6XX. Also have to have external opticalwith the 11" which is a deal breaker.
