Hello! I want to assemble a PC from scratch. I have a budget of 800 bucks. I need to buy everything, including a monitor. What will be your advice? Thank you

If gaming, Ryzen 3 1200, decent motherboard and an affordable gpu. 1050 TI-1060 6gb performance. Whatever you can get, even Maxwell or AMD GPU's will do.. Walmart has a 1080P 60hz monitor for $84, good for a starter monitor

Or
If your ok with used OEM's

Dell Precision T3500/ HP Z400-$100 on Ebay, specs don't matter uograde
Xeon W3565 ( $8 )
12-16gb of DDR3 Ram. Buy 3 matched chips since it's triple channel so 3x 4gb ( $60-80 )
GTX 1060 3gb ( $200 )
Your choice of KVM, This comes up to $388, so you can get a better video card, better processor from this. W3565 is best value, but W3680 and 90 are monsters and overclock via software. X5687 is good middle ground.
You could get a Freesync/ Gsync monitor in your budget with this setup.

Thanks 4 your replies guys! Mostly for games. However, I got a job in the company and maybe I will need simple programming and graphics editors. And please use less slang computer, it's hard for me to navigate in this! Thank you!)

Dell Inspiron 15" Laptop w/ Intel i5 Processor (CPU) + Nvidia 1060 Graphics Card (GPU)

Ryzen 5 2400G + 8Gb DDR4 3000Mhz + B350 Motherboard + 1 TB Hard disk drive + 450W Bronze rated Power Supply Unit + Windows 10 Home OEM

Leaves quite a lot in the budget for a case and a monitor

Guys, but what about this monitor? What is the general advantage of conventional non-touchscreen monitors? ViewSonic TD2220 22" or on Ebay ?

Okay my take would be:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2400G 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor ($158.90 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard:MSI - B350 PC MATE ATX AM4 Motherboard[ ($69.99 @ B&H)
Memory: G.Skill - Aegis 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($89.98 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive[ ($43.90 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING Video Card ($249.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Cougar - MX330 ATX Mid Tower Case ($24.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: EVGA - 650W ATX Power Supply ($46.89 @ OutletPC)
Monitor: AOC - G2460PF 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor ($195.70 @ Amazon)
Total: $880.34
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

That is as close as I can get you to $800 because I like 144 Hz monitors but if you need to be lower you can sacrifice a bit and get:
AOC - G2460VQ6 24.0" 1920x1080 75Hz Monitor ($129.99 @ B&H)
For a total of $814 for the build.

Alternatively if you want to stretch your budget a little more, you can get:
G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory[/url] ($154.99 @ Newegg)
which would bring your total to $940 or so.

Memory pricing and the need for a monitor make this a pretty hard one to get down to that price point.

Wow! Thank you very much for your efforts! Did you see the cheapest price among all? You gave me food for thought!!!

Yep. There are a few tools on the internet that make building PCs much easier these days. PCHound is what I think is endorsed by HardOCP staff but many people also use PCPartpicker. Both tools tell you if the parts are compatible or not and find the best price for you.

Check my $800 AMD build here:

Drop down to a r5 1500x and 8gb of ram, and cheapest 350 board you can find to free up budget for monitor and accessories.
