Hey everyone. I currently have a Zalmon cnps7000AlCu and would like to upgrade to something with better performance because my CPU gets to be~ 60 under load. So I just wanted to get all of your opinions. Well thank you all for your time.

btw . The CPU is a 2.4C @ ~ 3.3GHZ

oh and another thing. People always say that you get better performance from having your memory 1:1. But when I have tested my Ram 2/2/2/8 @ 230MHZ with mem FSB 1:1 and 4:5 . The 4:5 performs better memory wise. I am guessing because all of the extra FSB. Anyone care to elaberate on this?

where do you live?

I get 33C on a zalman7000 cu on a 2.8E clocked to 3.4

a lot of this depends on the local air temp of your room...

those xp thermalright models, look pretty beefy but they are also uberly big

I live in las vegas but ihad my AC on in my room so it was about 79F and the side of my case is off and has 2 40cfm rear exhaust fans.

Hrm wierd my CPU never goes above 47C under max load using the Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu Pure Copper cooler + Arctic silver 5 ( P4 2.8C @ 3.3ghz ) When I had the stock intel cooler it would hit 60C under load @ 3.1ghz, Case temp averages 32-33C ,it's been 100-105F out here in CA.
