best OC'ing 478 board?

Friend of mine has a 2.4c and 2 sticks of BH-5. I've been doing some research and can't find a single board that gives more than 2.9v vdimm w/o a mod. So anyway, I'm just looking for some opinions on the best OC'ing board that isn't "too" hard to mod or possibly works with the OCZ ddr booster...I'd rather just mod but he might be willing to spend the $50.

Finally found a board, the AI7, that gives over 2.9v. Looks like thats what I'm going to get for him, anyone have anything to say on the contrary?
 
That 875P? I can't remember and I"m too lazy to look...

Just get a good 875P board, if he doesn't have atleast an audigy2 I'd look into the chaintech to get the Envy PT. And make sure its got CSA, save some CPU cycles when downloading pr0...err bit torrenting...
 
The AI7 is a nice board, its the i865pe chipset. Though I would prefer the i875p for OCing, I know some people that have had some nice results with the AI7.

Ditto... just look at the sig. And now I'm running at 265mhz FSB. VDIMM goes up to 3.4v I beleive.

The only problem I have really found so far is the vTT is not stable when you go over 2.9v VDIMM. It is supposed to be 1/2 the VDIMM, but it is not.
 
P4C800 or IC7-G. :) MAX3 is too bling.

yeah, MAX3 is good. i875-based. but i like my IC7-G, though.
 
i agree on pretty much any ic7... abit did somthing right/unique with those boards
