I am looking for a nice mousepad that isn't oversized. 8x9 or so. Just a mousepad, no gel wristpads or anything like that. Optical mice will be used on these. I need a dozen or so so if you know a good place to buy them that would be great too. They will be used in an office environment ~10 hours per day and so if they wear well that would be great. It seems like most mousepads wear out somewhat fast, then the mouse tracking goes to hell.

I was thinking about getting a Scotch precise mousing surface as I have really liked those in the past. I really like ratpadz, and they would do a great job, but they're just too big to not take over the desks.

Any good suggestions would be appreciated.

Truth. Tracking is decent, they certainly don't wear down very quickly, and are more comfortable to use. Wish I had one...
 
Can you recommend a good one though? I hate the soft black foam bottoms because they don't grip the table very well and are too thick. I really like the really floppy knurled rubber bottoms with like a thick lycra top or something similar.

I went to staples.com and I can't tell if their $2.78 pad is the decent kind or the cheap kind? Anyone have any actual experience on which one is actually good. I agree with you on style, but I'm looking for specifics. I need to order these today so I can bring them with me next time I go into the office to work.

$13.99 @ PTS...but the shipping is pretty ridiculous. $6.82 UPS Ground. They better be going by weight and have the total shipping be a whole lot less.

As much as I like the func, I don't think the boss will approve of a ~$16 mousepad to outfit the office with. Any good, but less expensive suggestions?
