Best music producing software?

Hey guys,

me and my brother want some music producing software worth around £150 or less, we dont want to spend too much because we might not ending up producing too much music and we dont want the money to go to waste. we will generally be making hip hop/r n b music. so whats the best?

Sibelius is going to be your best bet, but it has to be the academic version. (£125). I'd say if you or your brother qualify for the academic version, get sibelius, otherwise look into the free version of finale, finale notepad

Try Cool Edit Pro I thought it was easy to use when I used it.

fruity loops might be for you - not exactly what those others are, but for hip hop or RNB i assume it would be a magic worker

Another vote for fruityloops. Reason is nice too, although better when paired with something like Cubase SX.
