So I finally picked up two more Qnix monitors and of course now it's time to find some active mini DP to dual link DVI adapters in order to use them. The trouble is, all of the ones on Amazon have horrible reviews. Every single one has many, many people mentioning the same issues: flickering, static, not waking up the monitor after sleep, etc.

Is there a tried and true go-to adapter that folks here use successfully? Or is it all pretty much a toss-up?

Would recommend you try monoprice.com. Great prices on quality products!

Why not avoid the problem and get displays with DP built -in? I guess I understand if you are going for the least possible lag, but do the adapters introduce lag anyway?

These Qnix screens were the only ones that can go over 60hz and not break the bank for three of them. I've read the version that comes with a DP port aren't overclockable.

I have that one running at 1440p with 108hz for a year or so now

A minor problem I noticed is that sometimes the display connected to it is only displaying random noise after booting
To fix it I have to turn the display off and on again

Didn't encounter any other issues or notice any lag
