I would strongly suggest getting the mic and headphones separately as opposed to a headset. Although a headset is slightly more convenient, you will really get much better sound with a nicer pair of headphones and a $5 stand-alone mic. I actually prefer not having a headset, since my mic stays on top the monitor instead of right in front of my mouth.
