Best memory configuration

I just ordered a new Core i5-750 machine off of the Dell outlet for $450. It comes with 3x1GB 1066MHz DDR3 sticks. I am planning on upgrading the RAM. What is the best configuration I can do for around $100?

I was thinking leave 2x1gb sticks in one bank, and get a 2x2gb pair to put in the other bank. Since both banks can run in dual channel, I figure this should be okay. Do I need to stick with 1066MHz sticks for the other pair?

it came with three 1gb sticks? odd, it has dual channel memory.

i would get a 4gb (2x2gb) kit. use two of your 1gb sticks and have 6gb. you might run into a problem if you try to run the 1066 ram at faster speeds.
