Other than looks has anyone found/use a mATX case that's more useful then the InWin Dragon Slayer in the internal layout? I love this case but other people don't like the look.

There is no "Best" case it all boils down to your taste. CrimandEvil is right.
 
GOD D*MN IT .... i hate agreeing with people but yeah if you like it you should buy it cause I can't think of anything that has the feature set for the price

but that is because it is exactly (just about) my taste in cases ...and then even still it would likely be a whole lot more than the $68 the one you like is at Directron.
 
I already own it I was just wondering for builds i'm doing for others. I can't seem to find another with the feature set for the money. Don't like having one choice.
 
what features particulalry? as far I can see the only unique thing is 5 expansion slots that might be useful for unusual build requiring a double with graphics card in the 4th PCIe slot. Otherwise there are any number of µATX that are equal of better.

Well being as its typically a bit more expensive & the internal layout is lacking compared to the NZXT Vulcan I would say to give it a look. Still an UGLY case, but not as bad as the dragonslayer

Ian that was the point of the thread. Was asking for examples? Do you have examples or are you going to just poo on the thread?
 
I think I asked a fair question, it's not thread crapping to ask you to be more specific, especially given the vagueness of your post. Since you can't answer I'll just post a load of options for you and anyone else to browse, you'll have to make up your own mind on which is 'best.'

For 5 expansions slots I said I believe the In-Win may be unique which leaves the Lian Li PC-A05N as the only real alternative, but it's very compact ATX:A few µATX cases of any significance that are tower style or able to house a range of full size heatsinks, PSUs and expansion cards...

Of course there are also many other µATX cases: the cubes, SFF towers, SFF desktops, and a few unique designs. All of which may limit some component choices, but some of those are great despite the compromises.
 
Sorry I was meaning interns of the features inherent to the dragon slayer. Cable mgmt, multiple fans, space for crossfire, etc. My apologies.
 
The thing that bothers me the most about the case is that they put a 140mm fan in front and on top but a 90mm fan in the rear. No reason not to have at least all 120mm fans in a mATX tower-like case these days. However, I will repeat what some others have said above. If you like the look of it and its components are good enough for your needs/wants then to heck with what others say. :D
