Best Low Profile Card?

[PRIME1]

I need a low profile single slot card for playing WoW. It needs to fit into one of those slimline Dell/Gateway cases.

So far this seems to be the best I can come up with....

HIS Silence H557HR1G Radeon HD 5570 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card

The performance is not that great, but anything faster seems to have a big ole fan sticking up. I would not mind even a used card of some sort. It seems a 9600GT/GT240 would be faster or even an older 4xxx series card.

I should just cut the top off the case and put a normal card in it.

Edit: Anyone running a 5570 that can comment? Thanks

So are you saying it needs to be single slot, too?

If you can handle dual slot, I'd probably go for this...

yeah it has to be single slot, it's almost a joke they even put a a pci-e 16 slot in this thing. That 450 looks almost as big as the case.

I just can't stand the thought of using GMA

yeah, the 9600 and gt240 are generally faster, go with one of those for gaming. The gt240 generally comes in 512mb and 1gb, with gddr3 or gddr5. I dont know if the 1gb is worth any extra money, but i would definitly try to push for the gddr5 ones.
