Best low cost PC/PS4 Gaming Headset? ~$75

So I have never owned a Headset before, I just use speakers and my webcam mic for VOIP when gaming. However my for his job my Father needs a Headset with Mic for a class he needs to take, so I figure i'll just buy one, let him use it until hes done then use it for gaming. I only PC game but it would be nice if it was compatible with PS4 because I see the PS4 being the console i'd own if i bought one.

I am not a audiophile/audio snob FYI.

It is only $67 on Amazon and seems to be highly reviewed by critics and users. However with no experience in the Headset world, maybe there is one that you know of that is the top dog, that #1 best headset in that $60-$100 range. Are there any?

Plantronics GameCom series is pretty good. I've had a 377 for years, but they have newer and probably better models out now.
