I just moved into my new dorm and my 19" CRT won't fit on the desk, so I need an LCD. I know very little about them and having a hard time picking one out. Perhaps you can help me.

Here's what I need:

1280 x 1024 resolution
Gaming without ghosting
Under $300

What do you suggest?

Well shucks, I was going to recommend the BenQ FP91G+, but the $40 rebate went away last Saturday.

*If* you can find an FP931 or FP91G+ for under $300, I'd highly recommend grabbing one. Other [H] users seem to agree that the image quality is great and the designs are flawless.

I'll see if I can't find you (and myself since I'm looking for a second one) one for under $300.

Well first off you need a video card that has dvi, and second it makes the quality of the picture better, not alot better but somewhat better.......................

circuit city has every once in a while a samsung 730B. Gots DVi and 8ms.

i have one and it kicks ass
