Best LCD for the Playstation 3 under $500?

I’ve wanted the good Dell 24” LCD to use with the PS3 but even on sale it’s over $500.
It looks like Newegg has the Viewsonic VG2230wm which is 22” for $329 and free shipping. I’d lose a couple of inches but with over a two hundred dollar savings I think I could live with that.

Do any of you have experience with sub-$500 LCD displays and the PS3? It would have to be HDCP compliant as well, which I believe most of them are nowadays. Personally I’d prefer something a little name brand like a Dell or Viewsonic.

Please help me make up my mind!
 
benq is releasing a 22 within your price rang next month with hdmi. wait for it it should be good.
