best LCD for text clarity

[kurtk]

Which are the better LCD's when it comes to text clarity? Or do the better LCDs all offer comparable text clarity?

thanks,
Kurt

Found this link on the 20" gamer lcd poll thread (posted by Joopvtp). Have a look at the text rendering comparisons.

Looks like the 2007WFP or the 2407WFP take the cake... Hmm that tells me logically what i want to move up to next

install vista.

for some reason, all fonts look noticeably better under vista. i dunno if they redid all of the fonts or something, or if just being rendered onto a 3d surface by the video card makes a difference, but it all looks better for damn sure.

Although my only experience is on dell 2407wfp and samsung 204b-bk (used and badly treated) so far...
Text on 2407wfp is GREAT... If I have enough budget, I won't hesitate to go for dual 2407wfp...
