Help. My lcd burnt out and using the pc on the plasma is a bit too ghetto, not to mention uncomfortable. So im in the market for a new lcd. I have 5-600$ to spend. I've been out of the hardware loop for a while so i'm clueless. I play bf2145. thanks in advance!
 
If frames per second is your main concern then a 22" LCD would be good. Some people don't like 22" because most are 6 bit TN panels where image quality may not be as vivid and sharp as a 8 bit lcd panel. But, opinions vary and some people may be content with it. I have a 22" Westinghouse and its good. The good thing about these monitors is the fact that TN panels have low response times and low input lags. Therefore should help out alot on FPS.
 
It may help to post your system specs as well so that we know how much display your comptuer can handle.

you can spend that much if you want but you don't have to get a decent panel these days
