im looking into an lcd display, my current 17" micron monitor is about 6 years old and really big. basically i want to gather opinions about good affordable lcd displays. i want 17"-19" viewable, having the case be black would be a plus but it really wouldnt matter, also price range is no more than $400 if thats possible.

Dell 1801 and 2001fp

All are about $500 +/-

Well the 1801fp is about $500 +/- but the 2001fp is about $500 x2

I'd give a vote for the 1801fp but you wanted to spend $400...I got my 1800fp's for $450 shipped during one of dell's deals that seems to be happening about once a month if you can wait for tha it'd be worth it...
 
that sounds like a nice price, i think ill be on the lookout for some dell deals
