Best Laptop Option?

Can anyone advise what to do about a laptop? I know how to build a desk computer, and have previously buit my own, but is it possible to build a laptop? If not, what is the best laptop out there today. Not so much for gaming, but a wireless internet a generous hard drive and plenty of memory. Thanks in advance.
