If it's for BF3 I would hold off and see how the flight model is. BC2 is about the farthest thing from a flight sim imaginable when flying helicopters, and seems to be much easier to control with a mouse.

As Sniper says, can't help thinking this is like getting a Fanatec for GTA4...
