Can anybody suggest a nice heatsink for my X1800XT 512? Im still running on the stock cooler and I'd like to give it some more juice with OCing on air. I was looking at the new Arctic Cooling Accelero X2. Does anyone have this and Is it running well? I've read some reviews and it seems to be a decent HSF, Just curious if the public can say the same. Also, are there any other's that might work well too? Price really isn't an issue. Thanks in advance.

Its ok.
Very quiet, which is why i bought it. Not hugely cooler than the stock heatsink(althought it is noticeable), but 50 times quieter.

I ran an Accelero X2 on my X1800XT for the two weeks I had it before I broke down and bought my X1900. It worked great (I use it on my X1900 now). Idle temps on the X1800 were around 40C, with load between 60-62C. This was before the AS5 broke in, and with a low speed intake fan. And, of course, you can't hear the fan even when it's at 100%.

The Sytrin KuFormula VF1 is supposed to be great, as is the Thermalright V1 ultra, and the Zalnam VF900. You really can't go wrong with any of them.

I use Zalman VF900 on my 7900GT and I'm very satisfyed.

AC Silencers have exhaust and cool good to. Though Zalman cooles PCB better though asks for good ventilated case.

I have mine in Shuttle XPC SN25P and native air circulation in case is enough to keep my card cool. Few weeks ago I was on LAN Party and it was damn hot inside. Like few hundreds people. All PC's and servers and heating and thin roof made it very hot inside.
I've kept my setings on smart cooling and system survived LAN party with flying colors. Some others have had thermal isues though even with full towers and stok mashines.

I hear the Thermalright V1 Ultra is supposed to be really good. But I keep noticing that it says in it's compatabilities list that it doesn't support the 1800's & 1900's. Although I see many people going with them so obviously it fits fine. Just want to make sure before I make a decision. Thanks for the help guys
