best heatsink for intel p4?

Excluding the new huge mammoth heatsink seen at Computex, the SP94 is the best one out there.

Actually, there are a number of heatsinks that outperform the SP-94; the CoolerMaster Hyper6 and the Thermaltake Tower 112 being two of them.

ohhh so yall know any that would be better then those? :D and fit a 120mm fan on it LOL =]

 In the reviews I saw, the Thermaltake Tower got beat by the Gigabyte 3D cooler ultra, which performs worse than the SP94 with a good fan. The SP-94 (with a good fan) is KING of P4 heatsinks right now. Since when does a TT perform better than a Thermalright?:p Also, both of those heatsinks are extremely heavy, way over the Intel specifications. My recommendation is the Zalman CNPS7000ALCU. It's light, quiet, and performs very well.

so the Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu comes with a fan too right? and for the thermalright its just a heatsink and u gota buy own fan for it? acuse i might just buy the zalman if it comes with a fan LOL

Yep, the Zalman comes with a very quiet 92mm fan. Thermalright/Swiftech/Alpha/etc do not come with a fan.

ohhh that makes life a lil easyer LOL for thermalright if u buy heatsink alone and have to add on a fan can it be 120mm? and if it is would it even fit? and where could u find a cpu fan? sry i ask alot but ima noob trying to learn :D thanks to yall im learning more everyday

The Thermalright SP-94 can only accept 80 and 92mm fans. I'm not aware of any heatsinks out that can accept 120mm fans. 120mm fans would be a waste on most heatsinks due to the large "dead area" in the center of the fan that puts out little to no airflow. The larger a fan gets, the larger the dead area, and the dead area is usually right over the cpu. You can find a lot of heatsinks, fans, and info at frozencpu.com, crazypc.com, svc.com, etc.

ohh iight haha i think i was just trippin with 120mm fan hehe end up homeboi had 90mm fan instead LOL ><!!! but seems like a zalman sounds good and cheaper and most ppl like it haaha so ima get that thanks yall =] oh yeah does the zalman fit all mobo's? im getting a abit ic7-G max 2 advance and wondering if tha zalman would fit. cause umm haha pictures has the nb cooler looking pretty big :D

is the Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu made of copper and aluminum?
Yep Al=Aluminum, Cu=Copper, AlCu= Aluminum+Copper. There is very little difference between the 100% copper and the copper/Aluminum hybrid.

Thermalright SP-94 w/ 92mm Tornado and voltage control, unless you want to wait for the new aluminum Thermalright that takes 120mm fans....
