I don't do any multiplayer gaming on my consoles currently but I expect that to change with Red Dead 2's release. I'm looking for the "best" solution for headphone/mic for use with consoles....I own PS4 & XBOne but I expect I'll be playing RDR2 on XBOne.
On my PC, I've got a Sennheiser GSP600 currently and an Audeze Mobius on the way. I'm also considering something in the $1000 range so a universal solution for bringing positional audio to consoles would be great. I've seen the Turtle Beach TAC that looks like it might work as a bridge.
I know that people like the Astro A50s and if for $400 I can get the headset and a base for each console, maybe that just makes the most sense. I'd love to hear if someone had one of the better "console" solutions and then switched to something they consider better.
