Don't you just hate all these threads that people start wanting H20 for under a couple of hundred bucks? I mean that is really easy to figure out :p

So in celebration of theseeker starting up a very high end custom computer operation I thought we might play around with a top of the line watercooling setup with all the bells and whistles. The floor is now open for all the apostles to lay out your dream machine and remember that money is no object in this thread. :cool:

Don't forget a display that can tell you that your loop is getting 0.1 lpm of flow :p

Erasmus, the trivial loop would put out so little heat that a single 120mm radiator would be able to handle it fine.

Of course, if/when OCZ comes out with their $300 (or less :eek: ) phase units, this list would simply have one unit per cpu/gpu, then a loop for anything else (that doesn't really need to be) water cooled. Of course, as jmag suggested, this loop could have a chiller in it, although insulating hds/mosfets/ram could get quite messy (and of course, provide practically no performance increase).

But a dual would be quieter, and this is a no budget situation so why skimp?

yeah but how would you phasechange cool a powersupply? and I'm fairly sure harddrives wouldn't like getting that cold...

so? It'd be totally worth it anyways. Even if it makes no difference, since this is the "Most expensive setup" thread, why not? I mean, I'd never do it, but I'm sure someone would.

And for the record, A company makes an aftermarket watercooled Enermax power supply. Just swap out the suction line and evap for a looping tube, sealed at the end, with brazed on flat stock.
