I have no history with tablets, so I am a complete newbie. I do know photoshop, illustrator, Gimp etc. I would like to create a bunch of very small graphics for a web based game that me and a few buds are developing. I was going to do pencil sketches and the scan them, but I do not have a scanner either. So first off should I get the scanner or go with a tablet, say like the Wacom Turos2. If I go tablet is the 4" X 5" good enough? everything I will be doing will be very small, usually under an inch square. Since I am a noob at this, I dont want to spend huge bucks my first time out. I want to see if I like it first.

If you have any exp. with this please pass on some wisdom. I apologize in adv. if this is the wrong place to post this, but it seems to make sense to me. Also if anyone has Tablets in the FS/FT thread etc. let me know.

Thanks!

Make sure you really need one...
wacom tablets are mostly for larger size images...like if your a digital artist

i suggest buying it used from wacom itself..
4x5 is bigg enough i guess... that really depends on your own tastes...

buy a 6x8 wacom (original usb) for about 115 US on ebay...
