Best Graphic Card for SFF Systems?

What is the most powerful graphic card for a SFF system, my research shows that an ATI Radeon X1300 is the best, i really dont think so, does anyone know of a better one, i need one for my old Dell Optiplex GX260, im planning on converting it to a media center pc so i need a capable graphic card.
The Specs:
CPU: Intel Core2Duo E8400 @ 2.6 GHz
Mobo: Default Dell Motherboard
Memory: Corsair4 GB DDR2 Ram
PSU: Zalman 550W Powersupply
Graphics Card: ????

for what case and more importantly what "research" led you to conclude such outdated bs...? Even more intriguing, how are you planning to fit a C2D or any of those parts in the GX260 mobo?

i already did fit a C2D in my GX260's default Dell mobo that shipped with a P4 processor, the mobo was one of the newer ones from Dell which did support dual core C2Duo's, also, the X1300 is the only SFF VGA that i found from companies like Visiontek and from Dell themselves. I'm talking about the SFF GX260 which is why i posted this tread in the "Small Form Factor Systems" area...so if you have any info on a better SFF card, please link me, now that would be useful...

This? You should specify which one because googling optiplex 260 returned a bunch of different cases all named the same. Specs of the mobo? PCI, PCIE, AGP, wut? ddr ddr2?

1, C2D's will not work in GX260's. Period. That is either not the original motherboard, or you "think" you have a C2D. Go download a program called CPUz and tell us what it reports, go take some pics of your motherboard.

The X1300 is a *horrible* card. How did you fit a zalman PSU in there?

Best low profile card is this 9600GT. But the rest of those specs sound very fishy...

BTW, an e8400 is NOT 2.6GHz so you definitely have something wrong there.

ok, let me make myself extremely clear...

1) The Core2Duo E8400 is a processor i used in another system, i also underclocked it to 2.66GHz just to be get it to run a little cooler and so the fan can run quieter, how i did it? SpeedStep. Also to use less power, i just underclocked it even more to 2GHz... :D
2) The Dell motherboard is NOT fake, it has the Dell Logo on it and i bought it from a Dell Store/Agent.
3) I'm currently running the system with an HD 2600XT (NOT SFF) so the case is OPEN not closed.
4) Because the case is Open, for now, im using a Zalman PSU to run things till everything will run well on the default slim 400W PSU.
5) Here is a link to the image of the case.

6) I was surprised to see the mobo has DDR2 support, i expected SDRAM or DDR1...

8) Im sorry, but i dont have time to take pictures or the mobo and upload them, just help me get a better PCI-E SFF graphics card than the ATI X1300 or an equivalent Nvidia card...

wow, colinstu, a 9600 GT in SFF, never knew about that...and for $130, im probably getting that...Thanx

Lol that sort of system would be amusing to take to lans, people would look at it and think wtf ^-^
