Best Gaming monitor under $200?

Looking to replace my old Acer GD235hz. No issues. Just want a newer monitor with better specs. Asus VG248QE the best under $200 or what? I need to keep it cheap bc wife. :p
 
Look into the LG 24GM77, $286 and change on Amazon as of typing this. Bought one myself less than a week ago, no issues so far, colors are really good. This thing blows the doors off the old ass Samsung it replaced. If you can convince the wife to let you spend a little bit more I think you would be pretty happy with it.

Or the VG248QE is $249 + a $15 off promo code that ends today on Newegg.

++ on the 24GM77. I have been using one for a few weeks and really like it. Great colors for a TN, low input lag, 144 Hz and backlight strobing available.
