Best Gaming CPU?

Either one of the Intel P4 EE or the Amd FX-57, but hands down the FX-57 will be the best in gaming CPU.

But honestly, consider the 3700+ or the 4400+. Anything further is really a waste of money is you ask me.
 
The FX-57 is the best but i would never spend that much money on an FX processor considering it has nothing special over a normal A64 other then being a cherry picked core so it will usually overclock a little better.

If i was buying a new CPU now i would be looking to go dual core with an X2 4200+ or 4400+. Both should have no problem overclocking ot 2.5-2.6Ghz or a little higher if your lucky and multitasking performance is supreme when it comes to CPU's IMO. High-end CPU's dont usually affect overall gaming performance very much because the games are primarily GPU limited.
