Best free backup software for girlfriend? ->>

Hey guys, normally I wouldn't be asking this kind of question, but my girlfriend just got a WD MyBook Essential to backup her computer. It didn't come with software of any kind.

What's the simplist thing I can download for her (free) where it takes minimal computer knowledge to backup her stuff? Hopefully there's a "one-touch" kind of app out there that I just don't know about.

Check out microsoft's free tool called Sync Toy, i love and it is free, it is a .net app fyi.

Another vote for synctoy.

I think synctoy goes in both directions. And even if it doesn't, keeping a single backup copy of your files is a bad idea. If one file gets corrupted and you don't realize it and back up anyways, you've got nothing left.

The built-in Windows Backup utility isn't bad. Give it a try.

Synctoy can be setup either or any way you want it to. If you just want a general backup tool, synctoy works quite well.

It will sync using the button from the Drive also once established.

thanks for that synctoy link guys. I was looking for that thing, since I needed a simple way to make quick backups of my work in progress.
