Guys hi,

Have question here, hope you can help;)

We have 8 local numbers for our business. We don't call from them - just get calls.
Very low volume(30 min-6 h per phone/month) . We do forwarding to our local phone line.

Currently we are using kall8 for this.
$5/month per numbers + 5.9¢ per minute

But thinking about switching to voip.ms
$1.49/month + $0.01 to $0.0149 Per minute inbound

Did any of you can compare the call quality?
Maybe any other company we should look to? Mainly for VOIP 'forwarding'

Also guys is there any service were we can 'park' the phone number? We have 10 local numbers we don't use now. But will need later for sure. Is there is any other way besides keeping it on voip.ms and paying $1.49/month per number? The numbers won't receive any calls.

Thank you!

i've run probably 5 grand through voip.ms for the past 2 years or so... havn't had too many issues... call quality problems are usually due to just the nature of internet connections, not so much on voip.ms' end...

it ended up cheaper for us to move to a PRI from TWC for $350/mo through our fiber connection.... call quality is EXCELLENT

In this case i think we deff should switch to voip.ms from kall8 - will get huge savings.
Seems like kall8 charges more cause they are 'pre setup up'- you don't have to set up DID #s, nothing - just give them them the numbers and than easy log in, choose number, choose number forward to, and that's it.
Since we don't mind doing easy 2 min setup ;), voip.ms seems like no brainer than if the quality about the same.

it's flat price? How many phone #s and what volume are you getting? It's include outbound calls, right?
Never hear about that before, we are in NYC, so TWC is all over, might be great option. But when we will grow a little. Right now seems like overkill for our needs.

You're on the right track. Kall8's pricing structure is not conducive to mass calling over multiple forwarded lines. It's much better suited to onsie/twosie accounts where you end up paying for a more polished interface.

Another +1 for VOIP.ms here too. been using them for Home, Business and clients for a few years now. As Goodcooper said, almost all issues have been related to internet connectivity.

well it's a PRI, so it has 23 "connections" it can support simultaneously... TWC gives you a block of DIDs for that price as well... they sell 20 to the block

you would need a phone system to break out the PRI and to route them properly...

also, TWC is just starting to sell SIP now too, so maybe that's something to look into... same price... flat fee... $15/each i think
