I'm in the middle of upgrading my zfs all in one server to 4TB disks and new ssd's. I'm looking to replace the br10i i currently use as a raid1 datastore in esxi with something faster to accommodate the new ssd's I am going to be installing. I've read the write performance on IR flashed M1015's is poor under esxi, is this true? What is the best bang for the buck controller option that can keep up with modern ssd's (used/ebay is fine, this is for home use)? Thanks!
