Looking for a new drive - need something that'll read DVD's so may as well go with the writeable re-writeable. Any good reviews out there?

I just purchased the LiteOn 812s a few hours ago. While it just came out, it seems like it's a decent drive from what I've heard. Other than that, the NEC 2500A is a good steal also.

The best and most costly is the Plextor. The Lite-On 811/851 are nice dual format drives.

I just bought an NEC 2500A from Newegg for $92 shipped 4 hours ago. It's a winner.

Go to this site for burner reviews:

www.CDRlabs.com

Sticky at the top of this forum has links to a load of reviews. The best sites out there are cdrlabs.com and cdfreaks.com.
The NEC2500A/Lite-On 811/851 and 812, and the NuTech 081 are all good drives, as is the Pioneer A07.
