Best dual core setup?

I have 2 Dual Core and both of them say they are only using 50% of the CPU. I am using the 6.10 beta 3 Console Client on both. Is there a better setup or a way to use 100% of CPU?

I'd be using two console clients on each, or maybe 1 SMP to utilize both cores. What are your system specs? Machine in the sig?

If it is either one of the E6XXX chips run the SMP. You will get the CPU at 100% and get a bonus in PPD for the work done.

SMP beats standard any day that you can run it.

One is the computer in my sig, the other is about the same but with a E6300.

The SMP didn't work for my when I tried it the first time. I had to set up a password for my user and it still didn't work after I did that.

When ever I try and open a second Client it says the client is already running do I need to VM the second client?

To run two client.
Set up a second folding directory, the easy way is to just copy the first and change its name.
If you do copy a directory, then you need to delete the work folder, the Queue.dat file and the Client.cfg file in the copy.
When you start the copy up and config it, make sure you change the MachineID to 2 otherwise it wont work.

Sweet I think I'll do this. Should I put Core0 on one client and core1 on the other or just leave it be.

It make almost no difference setting affinities with the standard client, only a few seconds a work-unit.
So no need to bother.
