Anyone have the Diamond coated discs? how are they for metal? Does it last longer then the reinforced disks?

Not really. They are made for cutting tile & ceramics mostly. Once the abrasive wears off you have a nice useless metal disk.
Much much more cost effective to buy the fiberglass reinforced ones IMO. They can be had pretty cheap online.

www.widgetsupply.com has a good selection IMO. Fiber reinforced cutoff wheels are ~17 for 100. I've seen them cheaper, but they have other stuff as well link
