Over the weekend I purchased an Onkyo 705 and a polk speaker set up(Monitor 70s/40s/CS1/PSW100). Currently I'm using 16 gauge non shielded braided copper speaker wire.
What is the optimal way to connect the speakers? The 70's and 40's have the 4 inputs like
^^That is how Towert7 had his B&Ws connected.
My dad has a rotel proc/amp and the B&W 6 series in his house and he uses a cable that has 6x16gauge drawn copper wires in it, he connects 4x to the lows and 2x to the highs.
After I get this system paid off, Ill be looking at doing minute differences to connections like this and will be purchasing an expensive subwoofer cable and probably some shielded HDMI cables, when the price is right.
How would you connect your speakers?
Thanks,
Michael
