I am done my comp except a case, then i can put everything together, so does anyone recomend a really good case for cooling and looks good to??

Depends on what you like. I think the Lian Li V series cases are very cool to look at, especially the V1000B.

Lian Lis are great and so are coolmasters. coolmasters are cheaper but the Lian Li V series do pwne. but to each his own.

Some of the best cases I've seen in terms of cooling are:

Lite On FS020
Chenbro Genie
Addtronics W8500/W8600

basically any case you mod up right will be great for cooling. but if your going for great stock cooling, basically any case listed in this thread is worthy.

I was going to get my buddie to do it, he said he would build it to my specifications, hes real good. i was thinking on 2 80mm front intake, 1 top 80mm exhauhst, and 1 92 mm exhaust in a half aluminum side plexi case. Would that be suffiecient cooling??

Why not get something like the Antec Lan Boy which can use 120mm fans? Then all you need are 2 Panaflo fans for good cooling and low noise.

How about a Dragon-type case from Antec/Chieftec??
Excellent cooling, with PLENTY of modding potential...

(yeah yeah, I know they've been done to death, but they've been popular for a good reason... it's a TOP quality case) ;)

the coolermaster stacker. has a 120 in the front, a 120 in the back, room for dual 80's in the back at the bottom, has a 80 at the top, you can fit up to 3 120s total in the front if you want, they have room for an 80 on the left side panel, and on the right side panel you can buy the optional fan that blows air directly over the mobo/cpu

That cooler master one is pretty sweet i say, but relly expensive  , and that TJ03 looks like realy good for the cooling and all. But i cant find it anywere, btw i live in canada.

Well I always suggest this case to everyone. Think of a ThermalTake Tsunami with a different front bezel and made out of steel. I LOVE mine the 2 120mm fans(1 front 1 back) cool great plus it gives you room to mod if thats your thing. I personally added a window and a 120mm fan on the side along with painting the silver part on the front bezel black to match the rest of the case. Also the silver part on the front of the case comes off and a has a removable fan filter that works great. All in all awsome case IMO...Great cooling, cheap, very well built, and it has everything but a removable mobo tray.

There's a list of cases with 120mm fan cutouts over at the Silent PC Review Forums. I've been looking at the one stryder pointed out for a week or so now, seems to be a winner, the SPCR folks seem to think so as well.

You can pick them up at Coolcases.com for $66 with fans and psu. Over there the case goes by the name D8000.

Sounds good on paper...but in reality, a bit noisy. Have you considered looking at a case with single front and rear 120mm fans? More airflow at lower RPM's = less noise. I'd also look at a power supply unit with a single large (120mm) fan instead of two smaller fans, for the same reason.

I got an Antec P160 for this reason, and have cut a blowhole in the top for a third 120mm fan. I'm considering taking the 80mm/92mm fan combo in my Enermax 470w PSU and replacing them with low-noise Panaflos when I sleeve the power supply, also to lower noise.

Not on par with a custom or very high end case, but the Antec Super Lanboy has 2x120mm fans, is very quiet and keeps things nice & cool. I was pleasantly surprised by mine... not that I expected it to suck, but it looks better in person than most of the pics you see & is a nice ballance of cooling and low noise out of the box. Of course, it is also more affordable than the really high-end stuff.

http://www.lanaddict.com/rev/130/1/ looks liek silverstone did something good with the tj03 since the 01 got some pretty poor reviews like the one above.

i ALWAYS recomend the coolermaster atc-710. it is built off of the dragon series cases so all the parts for those work on the cooler master including the aluminum side panels and stuff.. and it has to be one of the nicest looking cases ever made in my opinion.

i have one that is just sitting empty because i cannot get my self to sell it even though i went to small form factor.

I like my case.

I have no idea who made it or what model it is because I've had it since about 1993. I modded the hell out of it for cooling purposes though.

Heres a few pics of it:

It's got 5 120mm fans. Stays pretty cool too.

And yes, I know my cd drive faceplate needs some paint. The case isn't done I just ran out of money to finish it.

I want to build a clear case that's a little bigger than that one.

I like the case. You've got room for some bigger fans. I'm personally partial to 120mm.

Just because the fans are bigger doesn't mean that its going to be more efficient...although in your case with all your 120mm's makes all the diff, but...more 80's then 120's would push more air. So this case is suitable?

I had read somewhere that haiving the smaller fans doesn't necessarily equate to better airflow either.

I guess it just boils down to placement, use and need type of thing.

There really aren't any right or wrong answers when it comes to airflow.
