I currently own a 3008 and I thinking of pairing it with a Dell 3007. However $ is tight and I really dont want to spend the money on another. I would like to have two side monitors in portrait mode. Can someone help me with some recommendations.

Thanks,

Yes the dell 2007fps would be perfect for you! I have a gateway 30" and they flank it nicely.

Honestly, I was on the fence for a few weeks debating if it was necessary to have that much monitor on my desk. Well it is obscene to have that much monitor, but now I could never go back, it is freaking awesome! Found both of my 2007s for $159 apiece on ebay which included shipping, so the $318 was a bargain compared to having to drop another $1,200 for another 30"

2007FP (NOT FPW) is probably the best option. You can pick them up refurbished on ebay for 150-200. The ones I bought were in pretty much brand new condition, so it's a nice deal.

the 2005FP or 2001FP is the same thing as the 2007 iirc (more or less the same thing, I should say)

basically any 20.1" 1600x1200 will be good flanks in portrait mode

19" WS won't be too bad if the 20's are too expensive/hard to find

Just not the 2001, because the bezel is different

idk if thats a problem or not, just know it'll match up ppi/res wise, and has fairly similar features to the 2007fp, and will probably be cheaper to get a hold of on the used market
