What is the best codec pack I can install for playing regular and high def content on a Vista 64bit computer?

I've been using the K-Lite codecs and they've been fine, but from my understanding, they don't even use the video card/GPU for high def content and that it's all CPU powered.

Any thoughts and advice appreciated. Thanks.

32bit filters if your using WMP etc (WMP normally runs as 32bit unless you specifically tell it not to)

Cyberlink PowerDVD (not free) for hardware/software decoding of MPEG2 and H264/AVC
MPC-HC for hardware/software decoding of H264/AVC and more
CoreAvc (not free) for software decoding of H264/AVC video only
FFDshow for software decoding of pretty much everything else

If your using a 64bit app such as Vista Media Center on that sytem, then you must run 64bit filters, the only one im aware of thats any good is ffdshow. Core are planning a 64bit build of there H264/AVC decoder, but its not released yet. On Vista64, Media center will run as 64bit only the 32bit filters will not work.
