• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Many Greasemonkey userscripts from Usercripts.org can be installed directly into Chrome like they itself are extensions.

Here's one I use: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/25105

Another couple extensions I have in Chrome:

Tab Menu - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/galfofdpepkcahkfobimileafiobdplb
Handy for those with a lot of tabs.

Tab Manager - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/coonecdghnepgiblpccbbihiahajndda
For splitting off tabs to another Chrome browser. For me, helps organizes my tabs. I can have one browser with tabs for all computer stuff and another browser with tabs for forums, social media, etc. or even Youtube.

Cross Browser Session Manager - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nmidkjogcjnnlfimjcedenagjfacpobb
I've been using this a lot over other session managers because I can label and date my sessions. I have my sessions organized by topic(s) and date.

Search by Image - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dajedkncpodkggklbegccjpmnglmnflm
SO HANDY when it comes to searching for images. If there is an image that caught my interest on a website, I'd right-click it and go Search Google with this Image. Combined with ZScreen and FTP/Dropbox uploads, I can screen capture an image on Media Player Classic or from a forum or website that disallowed Right-clicking, and open the uploaded image, right-click it and search for it. Definitely handy!

Youtube Options FULL Version - https://spoi.com/software/yto/
There's a link to it from the Google Extensions Store to this but here's the direct link. It offers more options over the one found in the Google Store.

Auto-replay Youtube - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kanbnempkjnhadplbfgdaagijdbdbjeb
If there's a Youtube video or song you'd like to loop. I do this whenever I find a really good/talented performance on Youtube that I'd like to hear again.

Download Assistant - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mfjkgbjaikamkkojmakjclmkianficch
Combine this with Free Download Manager, you can right-click any download link and have it download with your choice of download manager. It's similar to FlashGot add-on for Firefox. I use this in conjunction with Free Download Manager.

History2 - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cahejgbbfgmlmjgdjlibphdjeldhagkp
This replaces the history page for Chrome. It also allows you to search for specific websites and even groups them by website. So, let's say you visited 5 forum pages on [H], it'd be grouped under hardforum.com. Pretty useful to me.

Google Voice - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kcnhkahnjcbndmmehfkdnkjomaanaooo
If you have a Google Voice account, you can send and receive texts and text/call notifications directly from the browser.

Awesome, it looks like I'm going to have to spend some time playing with all these cool extensions. I didn't see Craigslist Pop on either of your lists, but if you use Craigslist a lot, it's the best tool out there.

dholtzmann, that news is interesting. The way I understand it is that you could always add a filter to let a sites ads through, if you cared enough to see them. The true test: If everyone had AdBlocker installed, how many people would actually go out of their way to apply a filter to allow ads for their favorite websites?

People don't like ads. Review articles will inform and people will seek.
